The 'Lemur' alarm clock by Newgate takes inspiration from the mid-century modern era, blending the 1960s space-age elements, with a contemporary cream face and bamboo case in the name of sustainability. Can you believe some species of bamboo grow up to an inch per hour!?
The graphic modernist dial features retro-inspired numbers, measured by metal conductor's baton hands. Powered by quartz movement, the ‘silent sweep’ (as it's known in the industry) move the hands in a constant sweeping motion rather than a stepped tick. So you won’t hear any ticking, unless your hearing is particularly sensitive in a completely silent room, then you may hear a very quiet whirring.
As this clock is made from bamboo - a natural material - there may be slight variations in the colour and pattern.

Returns, exchanges and cancellations
We have a 20-day return policy, which means you have 20 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Order processing times
Our orders are processed within 1-2 days. During seasonal times, orders processing may take up to 5 business days. We appreciate your patience while we prepare your order.
Shipping times
We process orders from supplier warehouses located in Australia, United States and China. Some items may come from other parts of the world too and we will keep this updated as we can. We are hoping to ship only from suppliers within Australia as we find more Australian suppliers who can integrate with our business model, policies and procedures. We currently ship to Australian customers only, but may look to expand on this in the future.
Orders shipping within Australia will take 5-7 business days.
Order shipping internationally 7-14 business days, however they may take longer if we haven't been informed of low stock, or slower processing times. We appreciate your patience if this does occur, and encourage you to contact us if you have any concerns.
